🧠 Why I’m Here: The Power of Being Seen
For years, I moved through life sensing that the way I processed the world was somehow “off”—too sensitive, too intense, too much.
I masked my confusion, over-prepared for everything, and pushed through sensory overwhelm without having the language to explain it.
It wasn’t until adulthood, when I took a full battery of autism screeners as part of my professional onboarding, that everything finally made sense. I’m autistic—and that realization changed not just how I see myself, but how I work with others.
That’s why I offer adult autism and ADHD assessments. Because understanding your neurotype isn’t just informative—it can be transformative. It allows you to look at your life with fresh eyes, to connect the dots of your past, and to begin making sense of your present in ways that honor how your brain actually works.
🔍 What Is an Autism Assessment for Adults?
An autism assessment is an opportunity to understand your neurological wiring—especially if you’ve spent years wondering why things have always felt harder, more overwhelming, or just different.
My assessments are designed to be:
-
Relational – we talk, we explore, and we build trust
-
Comprehensive – we look at sensory patterns, masking, emotional processing, social experience, and more
-
Affirming – you are not a checklist; your identity is respected and celebrated
-
Personalized – no rushed sessions, no cold forms, no judgment
Whether you’re wondering if you might be autistic or simply want to explore your neurodivergent identity more deeply, I’m here to help you walk that path with clarity and self-compassion.
⚡ What About ADHD?
ADHD isn’t just distractibility or forgetfulness—it’s often intense emotions, burnout from masking, and overwhelm from trying to keep it all together.
It’s executive dysfunction, yes, but also self-doubt, shame, and years of hearing “just try harder.”
My adult ADHD assessments explore:
-
Attention and focus variability
-
Emotional regulation
-
Task initiation and follow-through
-
Time blindness and organization challenges
-
The interplay between ADHD and autism (especially for AuDHD clients)
We untangle what’s going on beneath the surface—so you can name what’s been unnamed for too long.
🌿 My Lived Experience
I’m not coming to this work as an outsider. I live it.
I’m an autistic woman raising five children—some neurodivergent—while navigating a blended family, co-parenting, and my own sensory needs.
I understand the mental load of masking, the grief and relief of a late diagnosis, and the complexity of finding your identity later in life.
This gives me a depth of insight that’s both personal and professional. When I sit with clients, I’m not analyzing them—I’m walking alongside them. I know how vulnerable it feels to question your neurotype.
I also know the immense relief that comes from finally having a name for what you’ve always felt.
📘 What the Assessment Process Looks Like
The assessment process is structured but flexible, and always centered on your comfort and needs.
Here’s what you can expect:
-
Initial Consultation – We talk about what brought you here and what you’re hoping to learn
-
In-Depth Interviewing – Exploring your developmental history, relationships, challenges, and strengths
-
Evidence-Based Screeners – Tools like the RAADS-14, AQ, CAT-Q, and more
-
Collaborative Feedback – We go over the results together and discuss next steps
-
Written Report (optional) – For those who want a document for personal use, workplace accommodations, or therapeutic planning
-
Post-Assessment Support – Emotional processing, resources, and guidance for the next chapter of your life
Assessments aren’t just about information—they’re about transformation.

You deserve to know yourself.
I’d be honored to support you in that journey.
